People come from all walks of life. Our lives are enriched and influenced by diverse cultures, traditions, philosophies, interests and way of being. A civil celebration takes into account such diversity and recognises the significance to include distinctive components into a ceremony that represent your ideals.

Naming Days

And then there were three...

It is a special gift to have a new life come into the world.  A Naming Day celebrates the start of your baby's life journey and honours their individual identity.

Having the freedom to tailor your ceremony allows you to express love, support, values and aspirations that are unique to your unity.

A Naming Day isn't just restricted to babies. Many choose to celebrate this  occasion at all stages of life for a broad range of reasons. Such as, forming a new family with adopted or step children, or officially changing a name through marriage, divorce or just because you want to.

Marriage & Commitment

As a couple you have come to an important stepping stone in your lives. Choosing to marry or take part in a commitment ceremony is a true declaration of your ongoing love, support and respect to one other.

This is your momentous day where you will be surrounded by the warmth and blessings of family and friends who are there to help you celebrate your union.

In the years to come your bond will grow through love, communicaton and companionship. A vow renewal ceremony is an ideal way to commend the strength and achievements of your partnership and mark the future passage to come.

Honouring Life

As a celebrant, I am there to help you commemorate your loved one and the passing of life in the best way possible.

Experiencing loss can seem insurmountable. We grieve out of love. Sadness hurts our hearts but it is love that replenishes strength to our hearts.

When family and friends come together in community, it is an opportunity to reinforce love and support, and reflect upon the many moments that made your loved one's life so meaningful and worthy of celebration.  A personalised ceremony helps cross that first hurdle of  the healing process.

As your celebrant...

Personalised service is essential to create an inspirational ceremony that is exclusive to you. A minimum of one face to face consultation takes place to plan a ceremony and, depending on the type of occasion, we may meet more than once before the ceremony date. It is a great opportunity to get to know each other in a relaxed setting and to discuss your ideas and visions. Appointments can be made to visit my home office or I can come to you. As a celebrant based in Melbourne, this doesn't mean I am restricted to servicing the Melbourne metropolitan area. That's what I like about being a celebrant. I get to meet new and interesting people, travel to different areas and experience wonderful places and settings.

For those planning a funeral or memorial service, it is standard for me to visit your home at a time convenient for you. It is important for you to be in a comfortable and familiar environment and, if possible, have a support network of close relatives or friends with you. It might be hard to talk about your loved one to someone you have not met before but, rest assured, I will be there to help you.

In maintaining professional service standards, all registered marriage celebrants must comply with the Code of Practice.
